Volunteers In Manalapan Give Away Almost 900 Thanksgiving Baskets
Students from Marlboro National Honor Society and Manalapan High cheerleaders helped load bins to be taken to struggling families.
MANALAPAN — Anderson's Meet the Need gathered a group of volunteers in Manalapan over the weekend to give away almost 900 Thanksgiving baskets to New Jersey families for their 11th Annual Richard & Nola feed families.
The local non-profit helps the homeless and economically disadvantaged.
On Saturday, students from Marlboro National Honor Society and Manalapan High cheerleaders helped load bins to be taken to struggling families, veterans and seniors.

"All to make sure everyone has the gift of a Happy Thanksgiving. The unity this event brings is unmatched. In times like these seeing all ages and races coming together Is needed," the organization wrote.
Founder Yvette started building baskets when she was 12 years old. Her family benefited from the same help when she was young and she found a way to pay it forward. He 28-year-old daughter took over the leading role in the organization.
