Weekend Guide: Flea Market, Charity Run, Jazz Concert

Flea Market

The Christian Neighbors and Friends of Covered Bridge of Manalapan is holding their annual flea market on Sunday, May 19 in the ballroom at 1 Amberly Drive. Swing by and pick up some great finds! Theproceeds will be donated to the swish War Veterans of Covered Bridge Post 536. Coffee and cake will be served.


Carlee Wines 5 Mile Run/Walk

The Carlee Wines 5 Mile Run/Walk is scheduled for Sunday, May 19 at Manalapan High School beginning at 9:30 a.m. The walk honors Manalapan High School graduate Carlee Wines who was killed in 2007 in a hit and run accident on her college campus. All funds made at the Carlee Wines 5 Mile Run/Walk will go towards the Carlee Wines Scholarship Foundation. The walk will cause some road closures on Sunday morning, for more information on the road closures, click here.


Jazz Concert at Library

The Carol Fredette and Trio are playing at the Monmouth County Library on Sunday, May 19 at 2 p.m. Carol Fredette is a jazz singer with a deep, expressive voice. Besides a jazz singer, Fredette is a vocal coach, educator, and record producer.
