Weekend Utility Disruptions In Manalapan Have Been Corrected
A water main break, power outages were reported in Manalapan over the weekend.

MANALAPAN, NJ — Residents were experiencing power outages Sunday and a water main break by the Gordons Corner Water Company was also reported this weekend, but officials said all utilities are back in working order as of Monday, Nov. 21.
Mayor Susan Cohen reported that all water and power was restored to the town as of Sunday night. In a Facebook post, she even asked residents to text her directly if they had trouble reporting a power outage or if they had a water problem.
She said the town is served by Gordons Corner and Veolia water companies.

Veolia customers had a boil water advisory posted in late October fall after a water main break that was ultimately corrected.
Due to the water main break earlier in the weekend, Gordon’s Corner Water customers on Woodford Lane, Patterson Lane and Maxwell Lane with low water pressure or discoloration were asked to run water in the tub to flush the system. This was expected to resolve the issue, police said in a weekend post.
