Woman Hit By Car, Suffers Multiple Injuries In Manalapan

The 58-year-old woman from Piscataway trying to cross the street when she was struck by a car traveling northbound, officials said.

MANALAPAN, NJ — A woman was hit by a car driving on Wilson Avenue in Manalapan on Saturday morning, according to Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.

The 58-year-old woman from Piscataway was trying to cross the street when she was struck by a 2012 BMW 328i traveling northbound, officials said.

The woman suffered multiple injuries and was taken in an ambulance to the trauma unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center in New Brunswick.

The BMW driver is a 40-year-old woman from Manalapan.

As of Monday afternoon, no motor vehicle summonses or criminal complaints had been filed, officials confirmed.
