17th-Annual Beach Bash For Autism To Take Place Sunday In Belmar
The event will include a surf clinic plus art and crafts, dancing, and more.
BELMAR, NJ – Autism Family Services of New Jersey (AFSNJ) will host its 17th Annual Autism Beach Bash on Sunday, Sept. 12, for families in NJ and surrounding areas living with autism and related disorders.
The event will take place on the 14th Avenue Beach in Belmar and will feature a surf camp conducted by Surfer’s Healing, a California-based non-profit specializing in working with children with special needs.
“Autism Family Services of New Jersey is incredibly proud to have hosted the largest Autism gathering in New Jersey since 2005," Liza Gundell, CEO of Autism Family Services of New Jersey, said in a statement.

The event includes an exhibitor tent featuring local and statewide services for individuals with autism along with an activity tent, an arts and crafts area, dancing, and interactive session
throughout the day, and lunch will be provided to all registered attendees thanks to our generous sponsors, including Stop & Shop, Jersey Mike’s Subs of Belmar, and Surf Taco of Belmar.
