4 New Coronavirus Cases In Manasquan Schools

Four new cases were identified in Manasquan schools on Wednesday, officials said.

MANASQUAN – Four new coronavirus cases were identified in Manasquan schools on Wednesday, officials said.

The district was notified on Wednesday about four positive COVID-19 test results:

  • 1 High School Student (last in school on November 17)
  • 1 High School Student (last in school on December 4)
  • 1 Elementary School Employee (last in school on December 4)
  • 1 Elementary Student (last in school today, December 9)

While confidentiality restrictions prevent the district from sharing additional details, the schools have engaged in contact tracing, officials said.

Any close contacts of these individuals have been identified, notified, and are now in a mandatory quarantine.

According to the district's restart and recovery plan, you will continue to be notified of any positive COVID-19 cases for staff or students that occur as we move forward. These notifications will come via email to the school community and postings on the website.
