Kearny Bank Lauds Its Neptune City Branch For Its Volunteering
Kearny recently spotlighted its Neptune City branch for its hard work doing community outreach.

NEPTUNE CITY, NJ – To truly be a community bank, a local branch must immerse itself in the day-to-day activities of its hometown. For Kearny Bank’s Neptune City branch, this is most definitely the case.
A recent company-wide assessment of community, charitable, and volunteer activities spotlighted several different initiatives that the Neptune City branch is directly involved, despite the pandemic, including:
- An ongoing relationship with the local Fulfill NJ food bank.
- Uniform sponsorship for the Neptune Township Little League.
- Volunteer support for Junior Achievement events.
- Sponsorship of the Neptune City Fun Day event’s 5K run.
- Assistant Vice President / Retail Relationship Manager Craig Watkins is a member of the Jersey Shore Chamber-of-Commerce.
- Sponsor of gameday tickets for Neptune High School’s football and basketball teams.
“During the height of the pandemic, I’d sometimes find myself going out to pick up deposits for clients who couldn’t come to the bank,” Watkins said in a statement.
