Manasquan CVS Site Application Not Filed Yet: Property Manager

MANASQUAN, NJ - A formal site plan has yet to be filed for a proposed new CVS Pharmacy on Main Street, according to representatives for the property’s management company.

The site for the proposed location is 176 E. Main Street, the former location of the Acme Food Market that closed in December 2020, per the Asbury Park Press. CVS has already signed a lease with Levin Management, the leasing and managing agent for the property.

Applicant Manasquan Holdings LLC aims to renovate the 19,600-square-foot building to include a drive-thru window, according to planning board documents. But while an informal hearing was held by Manasquan planners on Tuesday, the property owner’s attorney still must file a formal site plan application with the planning board for proper consideration.

Once reviewed, the plan will be put on the borough calendar for a public meeting.

“Levin Management Corporation is happy to announce that a lease has been signed with CVS for the entire building formerly occupied by Acme, and we are looking forward to proceeding on a site plan application with the Borough to improve the property and the building with a state-of-the-art CVS to serve the residents of Manasquan and its seasonal visitors,” said a representative from Levin Management Corporation.

There's already one Manasquan CVS location. That's located at 233 East Main Street.
