Manasquan High School Student, Staff Test Positive For COVID-19
Manasquan High School staff and a student have tested positive for COVID-19, Superintendent Frank Kasyan announced on Monday.

MANASQUAN – Manasquan High School staff and a student have received positive COVID-19 test results, Superintendent Frank Kasyan announced on Monday and Tuesday.
One employee who tested positive was last in the building on Saturday, Nov. 14. The district is providing this notification consistent with its Restart and Recovery Plan, Kasyan said on Monday.
Upon notification of the positive test result, the district engaged in contact tracing. As of press time, no close contacts have been identified.

In two unrelated cases, a Manasquan High School employee and a high school student have received positive COVID-19 test results, Kasyan said on Tuesday.
Both the employee and student were both last on the campus on Saturday, November 14 and engaged in separate extracurricular activities.

According to the restart and recovery plan, you will be notified of any positive COVID-19 cases for staff or students that occur as we move forward.
Please be aware that the plan was designed anticipating that cases would sporadically arise and that, when they do, the number of school community members affected and the impact on the district is minimized.
