Ocean County Brick’s Library Spectacular Performance

A unique, appealing performance was enacted by the Barynya Company on November 20th. 2025, at the Ocean County Brick Library under the title “Bottle Dances”
The event began at 4:00 p.m. with the Master of Ceremony, Oleg Kolomiyets, who began singing a song with a tenor voice. As the show continued, many other songs were enjoyed.
At their introduction and an explanation of the dance origins, everyone enjoyed seeing the dancers in their national costumes.
Several dances were executed from various regions, as Russia, Ukraine, Israel, and the Middle East.
The bottle dance, as seen in the movie “Fiddler on the Roof”, was performed by Arsenty Oskin. It was magical to see his agility in such difficult movements.
Complementing him, Vera Paganin and Alisa Egorova, with more than 15 years of experience, performed the “Wedding Dance” and many others.
As the show was coming to an end at 5:00 p.m., the public was invited to dance with the performers, the “Hava Nagila” meaning, Let us rejoice.
The performance gave us a chance to observe the professionalism of the dances free of charge at the Brick Library.
