Hydrant Flushing Announced In Manchester
The Spring 2024 flushing program is coming up.
MANCHESTER, NJ — The Manchester Township Department of Utilities will be flushing fire hydrants throughout the township beginning in April.
Town officials announced the flushing, which is performed twice a year to remove sediment from the water lines. The spring flushing will be done through April and May.
Each community will be notified when flushing begins in their area. Hours will vary, with flushing done during the day and at night, utilities officials said.

"During this time, you will experience a difference in pressure and discoloration. Run your cold-water tap only until it runs clear," officials said. "We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause."
