MANCHESTER, NJ - 11 Manchester Township School District students and organizations were honored for their unique talent and skills at the latest Manchester Board of Education meeting, school officials said.

Elementary

- Olivia Del Mundo (Ridgeway Elementary), who demonstrated leadership skills when helping fifth grade students learn the performance for the school’s tree lighting ceremony.
- Charlotte Cherry (Whiting Elementary), who showed leadership skills when leading the preschool students during their Thanksgiving Day parade.
- The Junior Impact Club (Manchester Township Elementary School), which was celebrated for its fundraising efforts in support of Florida's Hurricane Ian victims.
Middle
- Mia Sabo (Manchester Township Middle School), a member and Team Leader of the Middle School Engineering Team, who helped the team win first place in the Engineering Design Process and Challenge of the Ocean County College Tech Prep Robotic Challenge this month.

- Athletes of the Month Brody Boyd and Madeline Nolan (Manchester Township Middle School), who work hard both in the classroom and on the field and serve as an example for younger athletes.

- Mary Grille and Jamie Popek, who will represent Manchester Township High School as Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) representatives at the annual leadership conference.
- Nick Loffredo and Riley Reardon (Manchester Township High School), who were recognized as the high school’s athletes of the month. Loffredo recently committed to Boston College on a scholarship; Reardon was accepted to Pace University and George Mason University so far and is waiting on other acceptances.
