Manchester Marching Hawks Top-10 at Nationals

The band closed out its season this weekend.

The Manchester Township Marching Hawks closed out their season with back-to-back high scores and a top-10 finish at U.S. Bands Nationals in Allentown Saturday.

A week after posting an 88.85 and winning Best Overall Music at Washington Township in the preview show, Manchester scored a 90.55 at J. Birney Crum Stadium to finish eighth out of 18 East Coast high schools competing for the overall title.

It brings to an end a successful season for the marching band, which racked up two first-place finishes and three second-places through the fall, in addition to hosting a home show in September.
