Route 70 Reopens In Manchester After Brush Fire
Smoke from a brush fire on the Manchester-Lakehurst border had forced the closure, authorities said.
MANCHESTER, NJ — Route 70 westbound was reopened Sunday evening after being shut down due to heavy smoke from a brush fire.
The brush fire was in the area of Ridgeway Boulevard near the Manchester-Lakehurst border, the Ocean County Sheriff's Office said.
The New Jersey Forest Fire Service responded to fight the fire.
