NORTH JERSEY, NJ — From Madison to Hoboken to Maplewood-South Orange, several new restaurants announced openings or reopenings in New Jersey during February 2023.

Celebrity Chef David Burke added an eighth New Jersey restaurant to his list of eateries he owns or co-owns, and several other venues announced their debuts in the last six weeks.

1. Fox & Falcon by David Burke, South Orange

In February, Jersey-based chef David Burke became the managing partner in Fox & Falcon restaurant, which will now be known as Fox & Falcon by David Burke. Burke has already revamped the menu and will make other changes to the South Orange eatery, which has several themed rooms and bars. Find out more here.

2. Delicias de Lore, Raritan

Ana Lorena Chaves learned to cook from her mom and has shared her Costa Rican recipes with family and friends. She and her Bridgewater family announced they would open Delicias de Lore in Raritan last month. Find out more here.

3. NAYA Middle Eastern Counter & Grill, Paramus

A new Middle Eastern restaurant in Bergen County will offer dishes from roasted beef to chicken shawarma to rice bowls starting this weekend, March 3-5. 4. The Hidden Chickpea, Madison

5. Wing It On, West Orange
