Eat Local at Arturo's in Maplewood Next Week

Arturo's Osteria and Pizzeria joins hundreds of other restaurants across the state to celebrate local food during the week of June 22-29.

Sponsored by Edible Jersey magazine, the event highlights restaurants that empasize using local, seasonal ingredients in their menus throughout the year. Arturo's, along with the other participants, will offer special prix-fixe and supplemental menus throughout the week.

The magazine calls chef/owner Dan Richer "relentless in his quest to support sustainable agriculture" and notes he has built a network of local farms to supply the freshest ingredients for Arturo's Italian specialties and artisanal wood-fired pizza.
