Fill Out Essex County Health Survey, Maplewood Suggests

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — In order to better understand the needs of residents of the 22 towns in Essex County, The Essex County Executive's Office is conducting a Community Health Assessment.

The township of Maplewood, which shared the survey with residents, said,"We hope that you take a few minutes to complete the on-line questionnaire."

The survey will help the county identify areas of concern, learning about health issues important to residents, and develop a proactive plan for public health initiatives.

Results will also be shared with the health officers of all 22 Essex County municipalities.

The survey includes general questions about overall health, diet, and exercise habits, access to affordable medical care and prescriptions, and barriers to obtaining health care.

Assessment participation is voluntary and all responses are confidential.
