Free Kids' Activities, Music, Screenings At Maplewood And South Orange Health Fairs

There'll be food, music, SNAP benefits information, yoga, and more at twin health fairs for Maplewood and South Orange.

MAPLEWOOD AND SOUTH ORANGE, NJ —The upcoming Health & Wellness Fair at locations in Maplewood and South Orange will offer dozens of activities and screenings to lighten your mood and check your health. They'll also offer information on government benefits.

The Maplewood Health Department will host the Maplewood side of the fair in Maplecrest Park on Saturday, Sept. 10 from 12-3 p.m.

That fair will include free health screenings, fitness sessions, educational materials, food, music, and prizes.

Activities will include: SNAP (food) resources, health insurance information, flu information, blood pressure screenings, breast cancer and diabetes screenings, Rutgers STI clinic, glucose screenings, YMCA children's activities, kickboxing, yoga, food, free prizes, and more.

The South Orange portion of the fair will take places 10-2 at the Fire House on Sloan Street.
