Gunshots Fired In Maplewood, No Injuries: Police
Maplewood police recovered ballistic evidence at the scene, later identifying a "person of interest" in the shooting.
MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Gunshots were fired in Maplewood last weekend, but nobody was injured, police say.
According to the Maplewood Police Department, officers responded to Elmwood Avene and Boyden Avenue around 7:10 p.m. on Sunday after getting a report about gunshots in the area.
Police recovered ballistic evidence at the scene, later identifying a “person of interest” in the shooting. An investigation continues; no additional information was immediately available.
