MAPLEWOOD, NJ — The results are still coming in for Maplewood's Town Committee and school board races, as some residents voted by mail on Tuesday. Votes are not considered official until they have been certified by the county.

However, three candidates in the South Orange-Maplewood Board of Education race have pulled ahead.

Nubia Wilson had 9,287 votes as of Thursday, with Regina Eckert and William Gifford III in second and third place. See the totals below, and the breakdowns by district here.

In Maplewood's form of government, each year, the five members of Maplewood's committee choose a mayor from among themselves.

11th Congressional District: Democratic incumbent U.S. Rep. Mikie Sherrill won her race against Republican nominee Paul DeGroot and Libertarian Joseph Biasco. See the results of that race here.
