Jersey Guys: Maplewood Grad Zach Braff And Englewood's Travolta Buddy Up In Super Bowl Ad
Jersey guys Zach Braff and John Travolta buddied up for a T-Mobile Super Bowl ad on Sunday that was a callback (so to speak) to "Grease."

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Generation X may have felt all warm and fuzzy during the Super Bowl when the strains of the 1978 hit film "Grease" accompanied a T-Mobile ad featuring actor (and Englewood native) John Travolta. Although, to be fair, the film — a favorite for more than four decades — is about the Baby Boomers.
North Jersey residents had something more to sing about, because two of the actors featured in the ad were from the area. Zach Braff grew up in South Orange and graduated from Columbia High School in Maplewood. Travolta, as noted, is from Bergen County.
Travolta told Variety, “Chemistry cannot be created. It is or it isn’t. I love the dynamic between the three of us."
