Maplewood Green Team Hosts Eco-Forum

Residents, business owners invited to provide input on sustainability and green living.

 

The Maplewood Green Team -- which promotes sustainability practices and activities throughout town -- will host a Citizen's Eco-Forum on Wednesday, Jan. 30 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Maplewood Memorial Library, 51 Baker Street.

The forum, which is being co-hosted by the Township of Maplewood, will encourage input and generate ideas on environmental initiatives to improve Maplewood's future.

"The Forum is organized by the Green Team Advisory Committee to bring together residents and businesses to inform the township on what additional green efforts are important for Maplewood," said Kathleen Leventhal, member of the committee and a Maplewood Township Committeewoman. "We are one of the greenest towns in NJ and are always looking to increase our contribution to sustainability."
