Maplewood Library Earns Commendation From Essex County Commissioner Board

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — The Maplewood Memorial Library recently got a round of applause from the Essex County Board of Commissioners for its “incredible programs, service and support for children and families.”

The commissioner board presented a resolution of support for the library on Nov. 5 (see photo below).

County Commissioner A'Dorian Murray-Thomas praised the library for its wide range of programs and support for children and families.

Dedicated to being “open for all,” the library fosters lifelong learning, cultural engagement, and community connection through its inclusive programs, collections and spaces, Murray-Thomas said.
