New Lawsuit Alleges Abuse From Former: Maplewood School Administrator: Report
A fifth lawsuit has been filed containing abuse allegations against a former administrator in Maplewood who also taught in Bergen County.

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — A California resident who was a student in the South Orange-Maplewood schools 20 years ago has filed a lawsuit against the district for allegedly failing to protect him from years of sexual abuse by a former administrator, NJ.com reported Tuesday.
The newsoutlet reported that Michael Healy — who previously had been named in four lawsuits other filed against the Waldwick and Mahwah school districts — is accused of abusing the male student in the South Orange-Maplewood schools between 1997 and 2003.
Healy's lawyer declined to comment on the suit, which was filed in Essex County Superior Court Feb. 9, the outlet states. Read the story here.
