Rims, Tires Stolen Off Cars In Maplewood: Police

Thieves recently stole the rims and tires off two parked cars in Maplewood, authorities say.

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — Thieves recently stole the rims and tires off two cars in Maplewood, authorities say.

The Maplewood Police Department released the following details about each incident:

Feb. 19 – “Maplewood police officers responded to an Oakland Road residence on a report of a theft for motor vehicle rims and tires. The vehicle owner reported that they parked their 2018 Honda Accord overnight in their driveway. The following morning, they discovered the rims and tires missing off their vehicle.”

Feb. 24 – “Maplewood police officers responded to a Midland Boulevard residence on a report of a theft for motor vehicle rims and tires. The vehicle owner reported that they parked their 2023 Honda Civic on the street, and when they returned to their vehicle, they discovered the rims and tires missing.”
