Santa, Drag Queen, And Local Vendors To Visit Maplewood's WNTR Holiday Market This Weekend

This weekend's Maplewood WNTR Market features local vendors, a Spanish-speaking Santa, kids' entertainment, and more.

MAPLEWOOD, NJ — This year's WNTR Holiday Shop and Makers' Market continues this Saturday and Sunday with a lineup of entertainment and local vendors.

The market runs at Yale Corner on Springfield Avenue (1866 Springfield Ave.) on both Saturday and Sunday, 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

"A rotating mix of makers, businesses and entertainers will be at the market, sponsored by Springfield Avenue Partnership, Neighborhood Preservation Program Haven Collective and Elevated by Cannaboss Lady," organizers say.

Santa or Mrs. Clause will make an apperance from 1-3 p.m. each day. The schedule follows:

Sunday 12/18: Holiday Harmonica

  • SOMa’s favorite drag hostess, Harmonica Sunbeam, is the mistress of Christmas and the heroine of Hanukkah.
  • Also on Sunday, Dec. 18, Mrs. Meshuggah will bring a Hanukkah celebration to the market.
