A restaurant long awaited by South Orange/Maplewood residents will include a 40-seat bar, outdoor beer garden, fire pits, and event space.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — After five years of planning, owners of a new restaurant and beer garden in South Orange have released details of when the establishment will open to the public.

The Village Hall Restaurant in South Orange will open during the third week in November, a restaurant spokesperson said Thursday.

The theme will be a "Parisienne-style restaurant meets classic NYC Tavern," with indoor seating, a 40-seat bar, an outdoor biergarten, and firepits.
