- Making current infrastructure more efficient while keeping the “Student First” in mind, without compromising the quality of education
- Utilizing technology and resources to achieve higher goals
- Looking for more innovative and cost effective ways for additional resources (such as sponsorship, partnership and vendor negotiation)
Being a team player, a leader, and volunteer for the township and Sheriff’s office, I know the value of commitment, discipline, and dedication.
I will focus on prioritizing and ensuring effective technology and staff training towards students’ academic growth and extracurricular achievements.
2) As the district moves forward, what do you see as the key issues and how will you work to address them?
The safety and security of students and staff should be the highest priority with continuous efforts and improvements. Being in the digital era, much can be achieved by adopting and utilizing proven technology properly without creating new ones.
I believe the district already has the proper infrastructure, as we have made a large investment in technology. We must focus attention on the advancement of the students’ education by filling in the gaps with proper analysis and assessment, increasing transparency, and involving parents.
We may analyze the results of the State tests to find out merits and demerits of the students in comparison with those of other districts. This will certainly help the policy of our decision making for the betterment of the school education.
As an entrepreneur, I know the value of balanced budget to maintain quality education using tax payers’ funds wisely. We must prioritize issues with awareness of strength and weaknesses of district students.
