Metzger Named Council President, Mazzola Vice President

In the middle of the first big snowstorm of the season, the Marlboro Township Council was all business.

On Thursday evening, the council swore in three members and elected a new council president and vice president.

Jeff Cantor, Carol Mazzola and Scott Metzger were sworn in after being re-elected to four-year terms in November.

Shortly after, Metzger was selected to serve as council president and Mazzola was selected to serve as council vice president.

The Township Council also approved resolutions filling various board and committees.

Ira Levin, Stacey Di Grande and Alan Zwerin were named to four-year terms on the Zoning Board of Adjustment

Heidi Rajan, and Thomas Chenal were named to two-year terms on the Agricultural Advisory committee. Rajan was named Chairperson.

Amy Bouer and Bonnie Sue Rosenwald were named to three-year terms on the Youth Exchange Advisory Committee. Cynthia Sikora was selected to a one-year term as chairperson.
