3 Families Homeless After Fire Tears Through Perth Amboy Condos
The fire broke out at 4:20 a.m. Sunday in Building 6, on the 600 block of Hidden Village Drive.

PERTH AMBOY, NJ — Three families are currently homeless after a pre-dawn fire Sunday in the Hidden Village condos in Perth Amboy.
The fire broke out at 4:20 a.m. Sunday in Building 6, on the 600 block of Hidden Village Drive. Perth Amboy firefighters arrived to find multiple condos on fire, and crews found fire burning in the void spaces between the first and second floors.
There were no injuries, but three condo units were badly damaged. Residents of the other nine units were able to return their homes Sunday.

The Red Cross is currently providing housing for those three families — six people in total — including temporary lodging, food, clothing and other immediate needs.
