4 Dead Dogs Found In Bags On Side Of Garden State Parkway
Someone dumped the dead carcasses of four pit bull mixes along the Garden State Parkway last Thursday in Aberdeen, said State Police.
ABERDEEN, NJ — Someone dumped the dead carcasses of four pit bull mixes along the side of the Garden State Parkway last Thursday in Aberdeen, NJ State Police announced on their Facebook page Tuesday.
All four dogs had fatal injuries consistent with dog fighting, said State Police, who are asking the public's help finding who dumped the dead dogs.
At 11:00 a.m. last Thursday, State Police said they were called to the New Jersey Turnpike Authority’s Telegraph Hill maintenance yard. Maintenance workers for the Turnpike Authority told police they found four large dog food bags near milepost 119.4 on the Garden State Parkway south in Aberdeen Township.

When they opened up the dog food bags, they found the remains of four deceased brown dogs inside.
"Further investigation revealed that the four canines were pitbull mixes and had injuries consistent with dog fighting," said State Police.
