ABERDEEN, NJ — On December 12, Aberdeen's beloved Iberian eatery Lita will host a Friends of James Beard benefit dinner, supporting the foundation’s goal of raising money to celebrate and elevate the people behind America’s food culture.
James Beard-nominated chef David Viana and partner Neilly Robinson will create a special evening of food and friendship. For $250, the evening will start with an optional cocktail in La Otra, Lita’s neighboring intimate cocktail bar. From there, guests will experience a five-course tasting menu.
The five-course meal will include courses like Madeira Short Ribs with potato purée, chorizo crema, and roasted red peppers, Scallops served with leek, olive puree, pickled apple, crispy potatoes, mustard Vihno verde aioli. And for dessert a Baked Madeira with chocolate Madeira ice cream, banana and passion fruit sorbet, hazelnut praline and flourless chocolate cake.

Tickets will also include an optional wine pairing, and a gifted bottle of Marques de Caceres Reserva Rioja DOC 2018. Guests can make reservations via RESY HERE.
