A Halloween curfew is in place for Wednesday and Thursday in Aberdeen, according to Mayor Fred Tagliarini.
The curfew applies to all children under the age of 17. It begins at 8:30 p.m. and ends at 6 a.m. the following morning on both Wednesday, Oct. 30 and Thursday, Oct. 31, according to a proclamation issued by the mayor.
The restriction is in place to allow children the enjoyment of trick-or-treating while also ensuring that the "properties and well being" of Aberdeen residents are protected, the proclamation reads.
