Become a Peer Buddy to a Matawan Aberdeen Student

Parents of Special People, Inc. and the Aberdeen Matawan Soccer Club will host a peer buddy training session with on Tuesday, Aug. 14.

Peer buddies are student volunteers who participate in arts and athletics programs with special needs students to build a friendly mentoring peer relationship between buddy and participant.

Melinda Jennis, the founder and president of Pathways for Exceptional Children, helped train the first round of peer buddies for the and .

There are only 25 spots open for new trainees.
