Aberdeen Fire Department Annual Open House

The Aberdeen Township Fire Department will celebrate Fire Prevention Week with an open house on Sunday, Oct. 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Children can come out to meet firefighters and see the Aberdeen Township Fire Department trucks up close.

A smoke trailer will also be set up at the firehouse on Lloyd Road to educate children on the dangers of fires and allow them to practice getting safely out of a smoke-filled room.

Families can enjoy colorbooks, hats, videos and light refreshments.
