Matawan Borough Fire Department Fire Prevention Celebration

The Matawan Borough Fire Department will celebrate Fire Prevention Week with a morning of fun on Oct. 13 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Join the fire department in the parking lot of Walgreens on Route 34 and Broad Street to see the borough's fire trucks, meet the firefighters, and hang out with Sparky the Fire Dog.

Fire prevention information will also be available to the public.

A rain date is scheduled for Oct. 14.
