Expanded ER At Old Bridge Medical Center: Take A First Look

Take a sneak peek at the expanded Old Bridge Medical Center ER, a $39-million investment that means Hackensack expects growth in Old Bridge:

OLD BRIDGE, NJ — This week, Old Bridge Medical Center (part of Hackensack Meridian Health) opened its massively expanded emergency department.

This new 24,000-square-foot ER will serve every patient, from pediatric to geriatric, and was a $39 million investment by Hackensack Meridian — a sign the hospital system sees growth potential in the Old Bridge/Central Jersey area.

The hospital says the new ER will be able to process patients faster, with an expanded number of ambulance bays, newly designed pediatric rooms, on-site technology that provides faster diagnostics and treatment and 20 private ER patient beds.
