Marlboro Woman Facing DWI Charge After Lloyd Road Crash

The Monday night accident involved one car.

A Marlboro woman is facing several driving offenses after she allegedly crashed into a mailbox and a utility pole on Lloyd Road in Aberdeen Monday night.

Sandra Sorenson, 45, who lives on Lloyd Road in Marlboro, was driving her 2002 Ford near Warren Drive when the accident happened at 7:40 p.m., according to Police Chief John Powers.

No injuries were reported.

Sorenson is charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended, failure to maintain lane and reckless driving after a motor vehicle crash, according to Powers. She has a contempt warrant for her arrest out of Spotswood municipal court.

Officer Anthony Marone was the arresting officer, assisted by Officer Raymond Campbell.
