The library will host a virtual pet show to celebrate the half-way mark of its summer reading program for children.

MATAWAN, NJ — To celebrate the half-way mark of its summer reading program, the Matawan-Aberdeen Public Library is inviting readers to show off their pets.
The library will host a virtual pet show at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Participants will get to show off their pet and share what makes them so special. Then, using online polls, participants will get to vote for categories and win prizes.
This program is for children ages 0 to 18 and special needs adults. All prizes will be books and toys, and participants must be on Zoom to win. Adults may participate but cannot win prizes.
