Matawan Recreation To Host Outdoor Movies, Concerts

MATAWAN, NJ — For four nights in August, the Matawan Recreation Department will host a night of free entertainment under the stars.

The Matawan Recreation Department will hold Family Night Under the Stars on Aug. 4, 11, 18 and 22. The summer entertainment series, which will be held at Hourihan Field, 201 Broad St., will feature two movies and two concerts.

Movies will be shown on Aug. 4 (The Goonies) and Aug. 18 (Tom and Jerry), and concerts will be held on Aug. 11 (Virgin Vinyl) and Aug. 22 (The Nerds). For more information, contact the Matawan Recreation Department, 732-566-3898.
