Officials to Celebrate Union Beach Park Reopening

Locals are invited to celebrate the grand reopening of the Scholer Park playground in Union Beach with a ribbon cutting ceremony next week.

Mayor Paul J. Smith, Jr. and members of the Borough Council announced the reopening of the park located off Spruce Street, which takes place at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27, in a news release.

"The rehabilitation of the playground facility is part of the Borough’s Master Plan for Improvements at Scholer Park which began in 2006," the release states.
