Ross Brewing’s Black & White Cookie Pastry Stout is one of his newest beers, and is made with black & white cookies from Dixie Lee Bakery in Keansburg.

“Our first batch of pastry stout was made with five pounds of delicious, cake-like black & white cookies,” said John Ross Cocozza, owner of Ross Brewing. “This rich and indulgent stout unveils a harmonious marriage of flavors, boasting velvety layers of chocolate and vanilla derived from the classic cookies, intricately woven into a robust stout base. Each sip delivers sweet notes over a subtle roasted malt complexity, the yin and the yang of a beer perfectly in balance, just like the Black & White cookie.”

The first 30 cases of the Black & White Cookie Stout are available at the following David Burke restaurants in New Jersey:

THE GOAT; Red Horse in Bernardsville; Red Horse in Rumson; Fox & Falcon in South Orange. The small-batch, pilot launch will release just 30 cases and will only be available at the before-mentioned locations. And, yes, just in time for the Super Bowl and March Madness!

Dixie Lee Bakery was voted best bakery in New Jersey 2023 by the Star Ledger. THE GOAT received a 3-star review from NJ Monthly.
