Road Work To Close Aberdeen Street For 2 Days Next Week

ABERDEEN, NJ — Township officials are asking local motorists to avoid Atlantic Avenue at the start of next week.

The roadway is scheduled to be closed during the day on July 19 and 20 for reconstruction and repaving, weather permitting. Officials said the road work marks the conclusion of the water main reconstruction.

"The township manager, mayor and council have an agreement with the company which includes language that they are not allowed to rip up the road for a minimum five years," the township posted on Facebook.
