SAYREVILLE, NJ - An NFL defensive back and New Jersey native is set to open a brand-new gym in Sayreville early next month, slated to specialize in athletic training.

Myles Hartsfield, a Carolina Panthers defensive back and Sayreville native, alongside his friends Deion Miller and Isaiah Copes, are poised to open Limitless Fitness in Raritan Center Plaza on Dec. 3, according to a statement.

Born out of the COVID-19 pandemic, Limitless Fitness started when Hartsfield decided he wanted to stay in shape before the NFL season in 2020. Miller and Copes helped him stick to his workout regimen at a football field, given that gyms were closed during the pandemic. It was when Sayreville locals asked to join in on the fitness routine that the group became inspired to start their own fitness business.

While Hartsfield and company signed a lease for an indoor facility in October 2020, the space quickly filled up with new customers and ultimately closed to find a bigger location. The outcome: Limitless Fitness Gym at 426 Raritan Street, a fully-stocked fitness center offering group training, personal training, semi-personal training and athlete training for those ages 7 and up.

“This new location will serve as a new refresh with more space, equipment, trainers, and opportunity. Focusing on your health and wellness is important and Limitless is doing such that in the community,” the gym said in a statement. “Being leaders in the health and wellness space in the community they grew up in is very important to [the owners.]”
