CASA, which gives a helping hand to children in Morris and Sussex Counties who’ve suffered neglect, abuse or abandonment, will be given proceeds from the auction of artist Mariah Ringhoff’s artworks.
The number 50 is significant for Ringhoff, who said she is celebrating her 50th birthday this year and created “52 paintings and 50 drawings from memories, thoughts or experiences from my 49th year.”

“As a New Jersey artist, I serve my community by donating my work exclusively to raise money for those in need,” Ringhoff said in a news release from CASA about the event.
Ringhoff’s art can be viewed here on Facebook and here on Instagram.
“We are honored Mariah has chosen to donate her paintings to be auctioned with us,” said CASA’s Executive Director Lisa Firkser.
“The children we serve have suffered tremendously, and proceeds from this auction will support them on their journey to a safe, permanent, and nurturing home,” Firkser added.
CASA volunteers help the children-in-need with various resources, including medical and educational ones, working with them to acquire scholastic necessities like laptops and school supplies. Volunteers with CASA additionally spend time with the kids they help, going to school meetings, court hearings and separate meetings with parties that are part of their child’s individual case.
They also spend time with the children they work with and coordinate birthday and holiday gifts for them.
