Chester Student Named Lego Kid Reporter
The Chester 9-year-old is one of six kid reporters who will get sneak peaks of the new New York Legoland.

CHESTER, NJ — A Chester student is one of six children to be named a Legoland Lego Kid Reporter.
Julio Arostegui, a 9-year-old from Chester, will help share updates on the construction of the New York Legoland theme park, including sneak peaks of the park and attending launch events ahead of the 2020 opening.
The kid reporters will work alongside "Kiditor-in-Chief" Waverly Winchester in reporting on the park's progress.

"As a seasoned kid news reporter, I’m looking forward to helping my fellow junior journalists spread the news of Legoland New York," said Winchester. "I"ve been telling my classmates about the Park since I first heard it was opening, and now I get to share my excitement with kids from all over the country!"
It won't be all work and no play for the kid reporters. The six reporters will also get four annual passes, Legoland-branded gifts, and a commemorative Lego microphone.

When Julio isn't reporting for Lego, he enjoys camping with the Cub Scouts, and fishing with his dad. He recently earned a junior black belt in taekwondo, and his interesting in coding, robotics, and chess.
The Goshen, New York amusement park will open next year, and is expected to have: A LEGOLAND factory, Lego City, Heartlake City, for the "Friends" line, Miniland, Pirates Shores, the Ninjago Zone, and Bricktopia, which will have "all kinds of weird" Lego creations. There will also be a large model of New York City made of Lego bricks.
There will also be:
- An immersive 250-room LEGOLAND Hotel, which will feature hundreds of Lego models.
- The LEGOLAND Driving School, where kids will learn how to drive a LEGO-themed car.
- A 4-D movie theater that will show a variety of LEGO movies.
The $350 million amusement park will be off of Route 17 in Orange County, New York. It was originally slated to open in 2019.
LEGOLAND New York will be open from April to November. The hotel will be open year-round.
It will be even larger than the LEGOLAND Discovery Center coming to the the American Dream Meadowlands, which is slated to open in 2019.
