Half Pound Of Pot, Cash, Booze Seized In Mendham Twp.: Cops
Morristown man was pulled over for tinted windows and broken lights, police report.

MENDHAM TWP., N.J. – A Morristown man with tinted windows and improperly working lights traveling through Mendham Township was hiding a haul of illegal substances, police said.
On Jan. 9 at 9:06 p.m. police stopped a car traveling on Mount Pleasant Road in the area of Kensington Court, Lt. Ross Johnson said.
During the stop, police smelled the odor of raw marijuana, and a search of the vehicle with assistance from the Morris County Sheriff’s Department K-9 Unit located approximately half a pound of marijuana with a street value of $2,800.

The driver, Naeem Pierce, 20, of Morristown was arrested and charged with possession of more than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, possession of alcohol underage, obstruction of administration of law enforcement, operation of a motor vehicle containing narcotics and two motor vehicle offenses. His car was impounded and Pierce was given a court date.
