Mailbox Damaged During Blizzard? Chester Twp. Can Help

Town taking names and addresses for residents with mailboxes damaged during plowing.

CHESTER TWP., N.J. – At certain points during the blizzard of 2016, whiteout conditions caused snowplow drivers to have little to no visibility. On top of that, moving the mounds of snow to the side of the road came with its own hazards.

As a result, some mailboxes in Chester Township felt the brunt, being knocked over by plows or the snow being moved from the plow trucks.

If you’re one of the Chester Township residents whose mailbox was damaged during the storm, contact 908-879-5100. Do not call the Department of Public Works directly.
