It has only posted three tweets in the few days it's been part of the Twitterverse, but Mendham Township's police department is already connecting with the community even more than it already does.The local police department launched a Twitter account this week, which can be found by following @mendhamtwppd and has posted one tweet showing officers helping with a monthly security drill at Mendham Township Elementary School, and another warning residents of a potential scam.The department will post updates to its Twitter account when necessary regarding everything from road closures to community outreach updates.Follow @mendhamtwppd for more information.
