Morris Man Filmed Sex Partners, Made Child Porn: Prosecutor

Authorities still searching to identify females who were filmed without consent.

A Mt. Olive man has been arrested and charged with a slew of crimes after police say he filmed sexual encounters with women without their consent, and did the same with a teen girl, Morris County Prosecutor Fredric Knapp announced.

Phillip Johnson, 28, was initially charged with invasion of privacy and witness tampering on Sept. 8 stemming from allegations he filmed multiple women engage in sexual encounters without their knowledge, Knapp said.

A month later, on Oct. 13, Johnson was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, permitting the child to engage in child pornography, and endangering the welfare of children by manufacturing child pornography and was jailed on $25,000 bail with a 10-percent cash option.

Those later charges stemmed from allegations that Johnson engaged in an act of sexual contact with a teen girl who was 17 at the time, and the encounter was filmed without the female’s knowledge, Knapp said.

The investigation into the allegations of invasion of privacy is ongoing and law enforcement is seeking to identify the women who were filmed during the sexual encounters.
